If you wish to vote in Republic Township, you must be a registered voter in Republic Township.
If you wish to register, click on the Forms link in the right panel to download a registration form. Or, you may call the township office at 906-376-8827 and request that the appropiate form be mailed to you. Or, you may come into the Township Office at 279 Kloman Ave. North Republic in person to obtain the form. Be sure and have a pictured ID from a government agency with you.
If you are a registered voter and have a new address or changed addresses, the township clerk must be notified before showing up to vote... click on the Forms link in the right panel to download a change of address form. Or, you may call the township office at 906-376-8827 and request that the appropiate forms be mailed to you. If you wish an Absentee Ballot, call the Republic Township Clerk, Ms. Vickie Skogman, Monday thru Thursday between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM and request the procedure to follow to obtain an absentee ballot.

For those seeking to be elected to Township Office, certain forms have to be completed well in advance of the Primary Election. The forms are Affidavit of Identity (form LB-617)(the form is in triplicate or 3 copies required) and Nominating Petition (Form 8810). Both are available by clicking the links. The completed Nominating Petition and completed Affidavit of Identitymust be turned in together to the Republic Township Clerk. Advice and council may be obtained by calling the Republic Township Clerk, Ms. Vickie Skogman, Monday thru Thursday between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Forms may also be obtained from the Office of County Clerk in the Marquette Court House, 234 W. Baraga Ave., Marquette, Mi. 49855, 906-225-8330.
