The Republic Sportsman Club and the Tasson Distributing Co., sponsor an annual fishing derby.
The Republic Sportsman Club is a 501-c-3 none profit corporation. The excess funds are used to improve the fishing experience in the Republic area by planting fish, repairing docks, and refurbishing spawning beds.
Generally, the 3rd weekend in July.
Saturday, 6:00 AM to 10:00PM.
Sunday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Beginning at the Kloman Bridge on the Michigamme River in North Republic.
