Republic has numerious hunting sites accessable year around.
Perhaps the easiest are located adjacent to Pine Crest Resort, CedarHurst Lodge, Private Island, and Lost Lake Lodge. In addition, all proprietors can offer on site and township wide directions to other hunting lands.

Reminders are in order.
Efforts have failed to train deer to cross at deer crossing signs. The signs are about 5 miles apart. Most deer think they can cross roads anywhere between signs. Which is true....so....be alert for deer crossing roads 24/7..365.
Just another warning. Moose are NOT legal to hunt in Michigan. Moose have been sighted all over. They wandered into Iron Mountain, Ishpeming and places in between. You really don't want to upset a Moose cow and calf either.
