There are many parks in the area. The Michigan DNR has several parks. Republic Township has 3 main parks.

For this discussion, we will only mention the 3 Republic Township Parks.

They are:

Munson Park in town in North Republic. Munson Park has camping available. Payment of daily fees rates and rules may be obtained at the Township Hall or call the Township Hall at 906-376-8827.

Republic Beach Park along M-95 in North Republic. The park is a swimming and picnic park, with facilities for children to play. Volley Ball and Horse Shoes are available if you bring you own equipment. Rules may be obtained at the Township Hall at 906-376-8827.

Moose Rapids Rustic Camp Ground on River Rd. Go west on River Rd several miles. Moose Rapids has rustic camping, canoe and kayak launching with a good will fee box. Rules may be obtained at the Township Hall at 906-376-8827.
